About the club
We are a group of neighbors who meet each week to play backgammon, one of the oldest board games there is.
Some of us have played for decades and some learned last month. Come for a game or two, watch a match, or ask someone to show you how the checkers move.
- Every Monday, 1 to 3 PMThe Gallery, Lambertville Free Public Library.
- Beginners welcomeA member will teach you the rules at the board.
- Boards providedYou do not need to bring anything.
The stakes
The loser pays the library.
Players usually put a small stake on each game. A dollar is typical, and three dollars is the most. The loser's stake goes to the Lambertville Library fund, so every game helps the place that hosts us.
- Usually $1
- Never more than $3
- All of it to the library
